I ordered this back, I think in February or March, anyway, they finally hit the good old U.S.of A., and mine showed up here in Arizona a couple of hours ago. The "TC" I presume, stands for "Twin Cylinders", because that's what she has. I dropped a Nikko Stirling, 30mm, 4-16x50mm Nighteater scope, I had laying around, on her. Don't know if this will be the final scope selection, but it will get me started pellet testing anyway.
Really looking forward to running her over the chrono, to see what I've got here. Going to run her wide open, so' I'll pull the stock off and lock the power adjuster down. First up, pellet wise, will be some DYNAMIC PCP-2's. If she does well with those, I'll hunt some California ground squirrels with her, and if not, I'll find her favorite lead pellet, and hunt prairie dogs with her this summer here in AZ.
One of the things I've been curious about, is the material that the air tubes are made of. On my AA 410 CRBSL Carbine, and AA 410 ERBSL Rifle, the tubes are steel. A magnet sticks right to those. A Magnet will not stick to the AA 510 TC tubes. I wondered how they were going to keep the weight down, and now I know. Stay tuned, much more to come.
